Meet the tutor

Hi, I'm Miss [Name].

I studied Child Development at San Diego State University, and my favorite thing in the world is the moment a kid realizes they can.

Little kids don't learn by sitting still. They learn by playing, moving, singing, and trying again. Every session is built around your child: short bursts of focused work, lots of games, lots of praise, and a quick note home so you always know what we did and what to practice.

Whether your kiddo is just starting to sound out letters, getting ready for kindergarten, or needs a patient hand with first-grade homework, we'll go at their pace and make it fun.

  • Associate's degree in Child Development, San Diego State University
  • Focused on early learners, ages 3 to 8
  • Play-based, one child at a time, always patient
What we work on

Four things little learners need most.

Questions parents ask

Good questions. Quick answers.

How long is a session?
30 minutes for ages 3 to 4 and 45 minutes for ages 5 to 8. Little attention spans, big results. We stop while it's still fun.
Where do sessions happen?
At your home anywhere in San Diego County, or online over Zoom. A kitchen table and a quiet corner are all we need.
My child is shy. Will this work?
Yes. The first visit is mostly games and getting comfortable. Parents are welcome to sit in. We never push, we just keep showing up with something fun.
Do you help with school homework?
Yes, for kindergarten through second grade. Bring the reading log, the math sheet, and the spelling list, and we'll build a routine that works at home too.
How do I pay?
Nothing is due when you book. After we confirm a time, you can pay per session or per pack by card, Venmo, or Zelle.
What if we need to cancel?
Life with little kids happens. Give 24 hours notice and we'll reschedule at no charge.
